Graduate Credit Information
As an In-Person or Virtual participant at IgniteND 2024, you have the opportunity to earn 33 hours toward PD credit, which can be used toward the ND DPI Computer Science and Cybersecurity Credential.
To earn all 33 hours toward PD credit, In-Person participants must:
- attend every session, including the opening, closing, and networking time.
- attend the evening event on Tuesday.
- complete the exit surveys for days 1, 2, and 3.
- complete the Post-Conference Reflections exit survey.
To earn all 33 hours toward PD credit, Virtual participants must:
- watch each session that is available, including the opening and closing events.
- watch the evening event on Tuesday.
- complete the exit surveys for days 1, 2, and 3.
- complete the Post-Conference Reflections exit survey.
- complete computer science/cybersecurity related Microsoft Learn courses to fulfill the remaining hours necessary to equal 33 hours.
- NOTE: only the main stage content in the Bavendick Stateroom is available for virtual viewing
Links to the exit surveys for days 1, 2, and 3 and the link for the Post-Conference Reflections exit survey will be provided at the end of each respective day.
- Once we have received those exit surveys and they are reviewed, you will see the IgniteND 2024 events in your EduTech Training Dashboard and can apply to NDSU for credit.
- All exit surveys must be completed by July 12, 2024 to be considered for professional development credit.

Graduate Credit
Professional development credit is available through NDSU’s Distance and Continuing Education at a per credit cost of $75.00 (subject to change). One professional development credit is available for at least 15 hours of approved instruction. IgniteND conference hours are eligible for credit. Visit EduTech PD Credit to learn more.

- What if I am not able to attend the full conference, can I still earn PD hours? Yes. You must complete the exit survey for the day you attended.
- Am I able to attend both in-person and virtually? Yes. Please contact BSC Continuing Education at bsc.training@bismarckstate.edu; Also, you must complete the exit survey for the day(s) you attended.
- How much will it cost for the PD credit and which university will it come from? $75.00 per credit, 15 hours = 1 credit. NDSU will be the credit awarding university.
- How do I submit my exit survey for PD hours toward credit? A link for the exit survey will be provided at the end of each day and will be accessed through the NDIT EduTech website.
- If I do not fill out the exit survey, am I still allowed to earn PD credit hours? No. Exit survey submissions are required to earn PD credit.
- Where do I check my eligible PD hours from the IgniteND conference? Visit EduTech Training Dashboard and log in with your K12 credentials. If you do not have access to these, please contact your school district technology administrator.
- How do I begin the process of registering for my PD credit? Visit the EduTech PD Credit web page and select BEGIN REGISTRATION at the bottom of the page.
